FRIDAY, JULY 5
5TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
5 p.m., Downtown Hogansville
Let’s Celebrate Independence All weekend! Join us for the City of Hogansville First Fireworks Show Friday, July 5th. There will be food trucks and events downtown. Bring blankets and lawn chairs!
FIRST FRIDAY IN TYRONE
6 p.m., Shamrock Park, 960 Senoia Road, Tyrone
Come and shop vendors, sample food trucks, and listen to live music from The Steed Brothers.
LONGLEAF’S INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS CELEBRATION
6 p.m., 18830 Highway 85, Gay
Longleaf celebrates our Nation with a stunning fireworks display by Deep South Fireworks, live entertainment and a variety of food trucks. We will also have the Towerhouse Farm Brewery station onsite for craft style beverages. Fireworks at dark, live music by Newnan’s Steven Moore at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 and available at gate, children 12 and under are free.
SATURDAY, JULY 6
COWETA COUNTY FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m., Asa Powell Expo Center, 197 Temple Avenue, Newnan • 770-254-2620
Your favorite farm families and vendors return alongside exciting new additions, all eager to meet you at the Coweta County Farmer’s Market! In addition, Coweta County UGA Extension’s Family & Consumer Science Agent will join us this season with fun cooking demos, food safety tips and children’s activities. Plus, don’t miss the chance to meet your new furry best friend, as Coweta County Animal Services will be on-site offering pet adoptions.
SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday.
PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.
SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., The Grange Green, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
The Serenbe Farmers Market hosts Growers, Artisans, Craft-makers, and Healthy Food Producers. Parking is available along Serenbe Lane in Grange.
DOWNTOWN NEWNAN MARKET DAY
10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Courthouse Square, downtown Newnan
Hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month. The Market features over 55 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.
