From Staff Reports

The May issue of The Paper is now available for our readers online in a digital replica format.

The inaugural Newnan PorchFest dominates the front page with a feature story and map of the downtown Newnan music festival scheduled for May 31. And readers will also see a spotlight ad on Jess Barron of Lindsey’s Inc. Realtors.

Below are the highlights of what readers will find in this month’s 32-page issue.

• Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America, located in Newnan, spearheaded the 3rd Annual Coweta Grand Prix last month.

• Columnist Jonathan W. Hickman offers up his Film Fix reviews /previews of what is on the big-screen and streaming in May.

• Jess Barron of Lindsey’s Inc. Realtors details the lastest on the Coweta County Real Estate Market.

• Piedmont Newnan Hospital writes about how to combat seasonal allergies amid high pollen counts, plus reports that over $150,000 was raised at its Piedmont Rocks! concert.

• Publisher John A. Winters pens a neat column on the importance of non-profits here locally.

• This month’s featured Joint is “JaPaneck Frank.”

• Jimmy Bass, director of the Coweta Public Library System, lists all the great activities on this year’s summer calendar.

• The Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity President and CEO Ashley Collins is this month’s Interview.

• The May Local & Live Music calendar from Kris Youmans continues to show a strong music trend here locally. Plus, Kris has a few news briefs on area musicians.

• And look for notes from here, there and the Internet in the May Zen column.

The Paper is mailed to neighborhoods – Arbor Springs, Lake Redwine, Newnan Country Club, and SummerGrove – with an additional 6,000 distributed to over 125 locations in-and-around Coweta County.
