Below are some of the events in-and-around Coweta County this weekend (Friday-Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 2). 

First off, don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour early Sunday as Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. and Standard Time begins.

• Friday, October 31 – Sunny with a high of 62 degrees and with West wind gusting to 15 mph. Overnight low of 36.
• Saturday, November 1 – Patchy frost early, then sunny with a high of 64. Overnight low of 42.

• Sunday, November 2 – Partly sunny with a high of 64 and overnight low of 42 (20% rain chance).

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31

MUNCHKIN MASQUERADE
10 am-Noon, Downtown Newnan
It’s the annual little folks Trick-or-Treat event around the Courthouse Square and neighboring streets in downtown Newnan. Children from around the greater Newnan-Coweta area gather downtown to collect treats from all the various businesses. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged.

55TH CHRISTMAS ARTS & CRAFTS MARKET
10 am-4 pm, Coweta County Fairgrounds, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
It’s the three-day Newnan-Coweta Art Association’s Christmas Arts & Crafts Market. Experience this unique and festive time of the year. Original art, fine crafts, special visitors, trick or treat, demos, artisans at work, raffles or just simply a bit of everything.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE
11 am, Downtown Senoia
It’s the Toddler Halloween Parade in Senoia! A not-so-spooky celebration for our littlest residents ages 0-5! Come dressed in your cutest, silliest, or spookiest Halloween costume for a fun-filled march around Main Street, followed by treats and toddler-friendly Halloween activities at the Welcome Center! This is a festive & fun way to celebrate Halloween with our littlest residents. Strollers welcome, goodie bags and snacks, crafts, games and more after the parade. Meet at the gazebo located at the bottom of Main Street.

CURIOUS GEORGE: A HALLOWEEN BOOFEST
Noon, Wadsworth Auditorium, 25 Jefferson Street, Newnan
Following Main Street Newnan’s Munchkin Masquerade, there is a FREE Movie for the kiddos at the Wadsworth! The movie is “Curious George: A Halloween BOOfest.” Free popcorn & water provided while supplies last! The event is free but registration is required. To register, click HERE.

FALL SUNRISE HIKE

Bring your own hot beverage (hot chocolate, coffee or tea) to wake up with nature by the Chattahoochee River. Watch the sunset while listening and looking out for the woodland animals such as the osprey, king fishers, turkeys, pileated woodpecker, white-tail deer and more! $5 per person, $5 parking. SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 am – 1 pm, 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET
9 am-1 pm, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.

NEWNAN MARKET DAY
10 am-2 pm, Courthouse Square, Downtown Newnan
It’s the monthly Market Day in downtown Newnan. The event is hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month. The Market features over 55 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.

46TH ANNUAL OLD SOUTHEASTERN INVITATIONAL
Noon, Drake Stadium, 190 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Experience an unforgettable day of music, precision, and pageantry as seventeen of the finest high school marching bands from across Georgia and Alabama take the field to compete for top honors. From powerful brass to dazzling drill design, these talented performers will bring their best! The excitement doesn’t stop there—enjoy a special exhibition performance by the renowned Kennesaw State University Marching Owls, along with a performance by the host Newnan Marching Cats of their 2025 show titled, “SHADY.” Gates open at 11:30 am with performances beginning at 12:40 pm.
