Coweta County Senior Services Announces December Calendar

It’s holiday season but the Coweta County Senior Services staff is busy with the December schedule and events are planned throughout the month at their facilities.

The Coweta County Senior Services staff hosts events and free exercise classes weekly at four locations in the county – Tommy Thompson Center and Madras Park Community Center in Newnan, Leroy H. Johnson Community Center in Senoia and Canongate Community Center in Sharpsburg. 

The big event on this month’s calendar – the Annual Christmas Luncheon – is a two-day free occasion for Coweta County Seniors (55 and older) and will be held on Wednesday, December 10 and Thursday, December 11 at the Coweta County Fairgrounds, located at 275 Pine Road in Newnan. Seniors should select which date they will attend and RSVP by dialing 770-683-8600 by December 8. The luncheons are from 10 am to 1 pm each day.
