Abbey Road LIVE! Coming to Greenville Street Park

Celebrate John Lennon’s birthday with the Beatles tribute that brings to life the exuberance of the hits you know and love. Audiences of all ages will enjoy singing along to this monumental music performed live in downtown Newnan. The concert will be presented by the Newnan Leisure Services department at the newly renovated Greenville Street Park on Friday, October 9th at 7:00 PM. Attendance is free for all audiences.

Since 2002, Abbey Road LIVE! has been rocking the music of the Beatles at clubs,
theatres, festivals, and private events. Initially a tribute to the monumental “Abbey
Road” album, the band has expanded its scope to include more than 100 Beatles tunes,
from all eras of the Fab Four’s career. The band specializes in complete, start-to-finish
album performances of masterpieces such as “Abbey Road”, “Magical Mystery Tour”,
“Rubber Soul”, “Revolver” and “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.

Beatle-maniacs can enjoy an evening in the park by bringing your lawn chairs, picnic
blankets and yard games. Food trucks will arrive at 6PM to serve some of your favorite
British-Invasion inspired eats. The Newnan Leisure Services Department provides accessible and meaningful experiences for residents and visitors guided by their mission to improve the overall quality of life for the community through the City of Newnan’s parks, facilities, and cultural spaces.
