Thank You From The Fair Team

The fair closed Sunday. It took a year of planning and hard work by many.

Thank you to Pepsi, our presenting sponsor, and to Jake Stanley – State Farm Insurance Agent – Newnan, Lou Sobh Kia of Newnan, Brent Scarbrough & Company, Inc., and Dr Pepper for the four free nights — and to every other company whose name was on a sign out there.

Thank you to Puppy Pals Live, Ron Anglin of Quite A Catch clown/juggling, the Southern Belle Princess Parties, The Pine Box Dwellers, Jerry G. White percussion, Mariachi Atlanta, the Newnan High School Chorus, the DJs, and the Silver Statue man who stood still for five nights.

Thank you to the Coweta County Fairgrounds staff, to the high school Key Club members who volunteered in Harvestland and all over the grounds, to the White Oak Golden K for running the parking, to the 4-H kids at the hot dog stand, to the Kiwanis women and their pimento cheese, and to every community helper who pitched in.

It was a fantastic fair, and Kiwanis was proud to put it on. Thank you for coming. The fair has been how Kiwanis gives back to this county since 1947, and this year that means more than fifty local organizations.

Same time next year.
