Below readers will find a listing of this area’s sports calendar for the upcoming week, starting with prep football in Coweta County and including Atlanta’s professional teams – Braves, Falcons, United and Hawks.

The Atlanta Braves concluded a disappointing 2025 season with a 76-86 record. The Falcons are on a Bye Week and return on Oct. 13 for a Monday night affair with Buffalo. United is at Los Angeles FC while the Hawks begin their preseason schedule on Oct. 6 at the Houston Rockets.

Locally, five Coweta schools have football games set for Friday night with Heritage School enjoying an open date.
