From Newnan Utilities Press Release

Newnan Utilities is proud to support local organizations that make a difference in our community.

Through the Caring Customers program, contributions from our customers help provide funding for nonprofits across Coweta County. Thanks to their generosity, we’re able to extend our impact and help strengthen the work of these dedicated groups.

The Caring Customers advisory board recently awarded grants to three local organizations:

AnotherWay Foundation
Project: Care in Motion
A $1,000 grant will help support a transportation program that provides free rides to mental health appointments, helping reduce missed visits and increase access to care.

Bridging the Gap
Project: Summer Lunch Program
A $2,000 grant will help provide meals to children in Coweta County throughout the summer months when school is not in session, ensuring no child goes without a meal.

Coweta FORCE
Project: Women’s Recovery Residence Support
A $3,000 grant will support Coweta FORCE’s new recovery residence on Burch Avenue, which provides safe, stable housing and a supportive environment for women working toward long-term recovery.

To date, Caring Customers has supported more than 40 non-profits in Coweta County. For just $1/month, Newnan Utilities customers can help meet real needs close to home.
