FRIDAY, AUGUST 30

LABOR DAY WEEKEND SIDEWALK SALE
10 a.m. (All Day) in Downtown Newnan
The Labor Day Sidewalk Sale is an annual tradition! This is an all-day shopping event that starts on the Friday before Labor Day. During the Labor Day Sidewalk Sale, visitors are invited to walk the downtown streets and shop the best deals of the year.

PREP FOOTBALL
Five Coweta County high school football teams are in action.
East Coweta at North Cobb, 7:30 pm

Northgate at Columbus Northside, 7:30 pm

SATURDAY, AUGUST 31

SUNRISE ON THE SQUARE 5K RACE
8 a.m. in Downtown Newnan
The 5K race begins in downtown Newnan and spans through “The City of Homes,” where runners will catch a glimpse of the beautiful, historic in-town neighborhoods and commercial district.The race features a 5K USATF certified course (chipped timing), where runners will enjoy the diversity of terrain, including: long flat stretches, downhill and uphill sections. The Sunrise on the Square Road Race welcomes both runners and walkers of all skill levels. Onsite registration will take place at 6:30-7:30 a.m.

COWETA’S LONGEST YARD SALE & ART/CRAFT SHOW
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at multiple locations, Franklin Highway & Highway 34 West, Newnan
Saturday and Sunday. Free Admission and parking for this annual tradition of Miles-Long Junkin’ and Treasure Hunting. Multiple locations down Franklin Highway. Keith’s Corner (448 Highway 34 West), Witter’s Pond (904 Highway 34 West), Brown’s Farm (925 Highway 34 West), 3307 West Highway 34 (multiple yard sale vendors), Franklin Road Flea Market, 104 Franklin Road (multiple yard sale vendors) plus many others.

COWETA COUNTY FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m., Asa Powell Expo Center, 197 Temple Avenue, Newnan • 770-254-2620
Your favorite farm families and vendors return alongside exciting new additions, all eager to meet you at the Coweta County Farmer’s Market! In addition, Coweta County UGA Extension’s Family & Consumer Science Agent will join us this season with fun cooking demos, food safety tips and children’s activities. Plus, don’t miss the chance to meet your new furry best friend, as Coweta County Animal Services will be on-site offering pet adoptions.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday.

KEITH’S CORNER 51ST CRAFT SHOW
9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 448 Highway 34 West, Newnan
Saturday and Sunday. Arts, Crafts, Antiques, Clothes, Belts, Jewelry, Candy, Food Truck, Honey, Jelly and so much more. Free Admission and Parking. Family and Pet Friendly. Come shop with some wonderful small business owners!!!

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., The Grange Green, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
The Serenbe Farmers Market hosts Growers, Artisans, Craft-makers, and Healthy Food Producers. Parking is available along Serenbe Lane in Grange.

COWETA CX COURSE BUILD
Noon-7 p.m., Coweta County Fairgrounds, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
Hosted by East Point Track Club. Any helping hands would be welcome for a new CX course being built. Tools and equipment provided, just bring your bike to ride the new sections. Drinks and Lunch also provided.

CAMPFIRE PROGRAM
8-9:30 p.m., Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan • 770-254-7271
Come out to the fire and enjoy smores with the naturalist. Tell scary stories and sing crazy songs. This event will cost $5 plus the $5 parking fee.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

SENOIA PORCHFEST
3-7 p.m. in Downtown Senoia
Senoia PorchFest is a community-based music event that takes place on residential porches in Senoia! Porches and yards become stages for local and regional bands and musicians. Senoia’s streets become artist galleries and walk-up restaurants. During PorchFest, local musicians or bands set up on selected porches and perform for an hour. The performances can range from solo acts, to full bands, with a wide variety of selected genres. PorchFest is a FREE event to attend, organized and sponsored by the Senoia Downtown Development Authority. In addition to the music, PorchFest also includes food vendors, art displays, and kids’ activities! PorchFest is a celebration of music, creativity, and community! LABOR DAY MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

LABOR DAY ARTS FESTIVAL
10 a.m.- 4 p.m., Downtown Newnan
