FAMILY MOVIES AT THE LIBRARY

SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET

This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.

SUMMER READING FINALE PARTY

Come celebrate our summer readers from all around the county! Event will be held at Central Library – rain or shine! All library events are free and open to the public. Activities include appearances by Grassroots Music, ZooPro Adventures Georgia, Chick-fil-A Coweta Crossroads FSU (5 Glenda Trace, Newnan), Coweta County Parks & Recreation, Bubble Face Painting, crafts and more!

WORLD OF COLOR: CHILDREN’S ART EXHIBIT

Stop by the Newnan Carnegie Library for a pop-up art exhibition. Young artists will showcase their artwork for the community to enjoy. THE GEORGIA SCREECH OWL

Come and learn about Georgia’s most common owl, the Screech Owl. Details about its habitat, diet, anatomy, followed by the dissection of owl pellets! Contact the Visitor Center 770-254-7271 to reserve your spot! Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children.

NITWITS FREE IMPROV WORKSHOP
2-5 pm, Newnan Theatre Company, 24 1st Avenue, Newnan • 770-683-6282
Learn the basic skills of improv and how to translate them to a live performance, along with keys to navigating an interactive audience and the differences between an improv troupe, an improv game, and an improv show. Each lesson begins with warmups and social connections that will evolve the individual strengths and weaknesses of our students. All workshops will start at 2 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. The workshops will focus on Improv Goals and are designed to welcome beginners and refresh veterans. These workshops are put together with busy summers in mind and do not require participants to attend every week. All those who attend any workshop are welcome to perform in the N.I.T.W.I.T.S. performances on August 1 & 2! Standouts may be invited to become an official member of N.I.T.W.I.T.S. for the 2025-2026 Season. This workshop is open to anyone age 18 and older.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARKS
