PRESCHOOL STORYTIME

Join the folks at the Carnegie Library for story time! Each session, we will explore a new theme through books, songs, and body movement. Activities will be followed by a themed craft or open play. This program is recommended for children ages 3-6, but siblings are welcome. No registration is required.
SENOIA: ALIVE AFTER FIVE
5-9 pm, Downtown Senoia
It’s a Senoia Race Day-themed Alive After Five. The event features live music performances by local musicians, food trucks, and vendors selling handcrafted artisan goods, jewelry, artwork and much more!
33RD ANNUAL COWETA COUNTY CATTLEMEN’S ASSOCIATION RODEO
5:30 pm, Coweta County Fairgrounds, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
The 33rd Annual Coweta County Cattlemen’s Rodeo – the largest rodeo in Georgia and Top 5 Outdoor Rodeo in USA and Canada – happening right here in Newnan, GA at the Fairgrounds! Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure. “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. 11TH ANNUAL KERIS KARES ROYAL RUN & FAMILY FUN DAY
7:45-11:30 am, Downtown Newnan
It’s the 11th Annual Keris Kares Royal Run and Family Fun Day. Day of Registration begins at 6:30 am on the North Court Square in downtown Newnan with the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk beginning at 7:45 and the 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:15. The Awards Ceremony is at 9:15, followed by the Balloon Release at 9:30. Family Fun Day is from 9:30-11:30 at First Avenue Park, 2 blocks south of the Square with characters, games, petting zoo, food trucks, face painting and more magical surprises.
SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET

Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.
PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 am- 1 pm, Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.
SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET
9 am-1 pm, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.
MOTHER’S DAY ARTS & CRAFTS

Join Main Street Fayetteville and your favorite downtown businesses on 3rd Saturday Soiree, a monthly event! All over Downtown Fayetteville, businesses will offer food and drink specials, shopping specials, Sip & Stroll, and other event-themed activities. There’s the Art Walk, live music by Elliott Phillips, DJ Michele, Live Chalk Art Demonstrations, Free Face Painting, Rock Painting and more.
KIDS TO PARKS DAY

ARTZ ’N PARK

Rescheduled from May 10 due to the weather. It’s the 9th Annual Artz ‘N Park Festival. This free, one-day event will be held at Marimac Lakes Park in Senoia and is hosted by Southern Arc Dance Theatre. It will showcase the vibrant tapestry of artistic expression in a beautiful outdoor setting. The family-friendly event promises a day of creativity, celebration, and community from 1 to 7 p.m. with food, live performances, and readings and visual displays.
