Atlanta Braves Youth Baseball and Softball clinics offer ballplayers the unique opportunity to learn new skills through the official Braves Clinic curriculum while getting closer to their favorite team than ever before! Braves Clinics will consist of nonstop fun with an emphasis on teamwork, attitude, and healthy competition. The rich history and vibrant culture of downtown Newnan collide on Saturday, May 31 as the inaugural Newnan PorchFest launches an unprecedented day of live music, art and community. NEWNAN HEALTH & WELLNESS EXPO

Hosted by Yeager Road Community Resource Center, this free, 3-hour event brings together local healthcare professionals, wellness educators, and food vendors for a high-impact day of screenings, resources, and family fun.
AUDITIONS: PROSE AND CONSEQUENCES MURDER MYSTERY & DINNER

Newnan Theatre Company will hold auditions for its next murder mystery – titled Prose and Consequences – on Sunday, June 1, and Monday, June 2, from 7-9 pm each night, with check-in beginning at 6:30 pm. Prose and Consequences will be an improvisational murder mystery, and auditions will consist of improv games. Improv experience is not required but is recommended to audition. Rehearsals will be three times a week, with added rehearsals for Tech Week. Prose and Consequences will be performed at 7:30 pm on Friday July 11, and Saturday, July 12. Prose & Consequences will be directed by Paige Mikles and assistant directed by Alexis-Colon Ortiz. Those wishing to audition need to be 18 and older.

Newnan Leisure Services and the Newnan Carnegie Library are thrilled to announce an exciting Summer Series, featuring free movie showings for the whole community. A special presentation of Wicked begins the Summer Series with two convenient showtimes to fit your schedule: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, June 2 at the beautiful Wadsworth Auditorium (25 Jefferson Street). Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot!
