NOVEMBER 10, FRIDAY

ADOPTION EVENT
5-8 p.m. at Sharpsburg Pizza & Pub, 6549 Highway 54, Sharpsburg • 678-857-3828
Looking for a new furry friend? Instead of buying one, drop by Sharpsburg Pizza and Pub and check out all the dogs for adoption from the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
Four local squads have qualified for the state playoffs with three playing tonight.
East Coweta (7-3) at North Paulding, 7:30 pm – GHSA 7A Playoffs
Dutchtown at Northgate (7-3), 7:30 pm – GHSA 5A Playoffs
Central Christian (5-4) at Unity Christian, 7:30 pm – GAPPS 8-Man Playoffs

NOVEMBER 11, SATURDAY

SENOIA FARMERS MARKET
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 40 Travis Street, Senoia
It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. The market also features handmade crafts, such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities.  EVERY Saturday.

THE LOCALS MARKET
9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Greenville Street Park, Downtown Newnan
Free event. Local vendors, businesses, children’s activities, live music and food trucks.

10TH ANNUAL SOUTHERN HANDS ARTIST STUDIO TOUR
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 20 Art Studios in Coweta, Fayette Counties
For the past 10 years local artists in Fayette and Coweta County have opened their studios for a weekend to connect directly with fellow art lovers. Our mission to educate the general public about the process of creating art – the beauty, fun and frustration of it all! We’re thrilled to be celebrating our 10th year of the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour and it will be sure to be a memorable one! This FREE self-guided tour invites you into studios to give you a look at the tools the artists use and to explain the process that takes them from supplies to finished pieces of handmade art. SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 9110 Selborne Lane, Palmetto
Serenbe Farmers Market offers a variety of healthy foods and artisanal goods on a large green space surrounded by a canopy of trees. Spend the morning shopping for your weekly groceries or unique gifts & wears while enjoying the beauty of nature.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
This market brings approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats, honey, eggs, prepared foods and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find the consummate gift for the foodie in your life and visitors will also find live music going on.

24TH ANNUAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA COWETA CHRISTMAS
9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Coweta County Fairgrounds, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
Free event open to the public. Local children’s choral and dance groups, Vendors selling Christmas gifts, Photos with Santa Claus, Children’s Crafts (minimal charge), Food and drinks. Fun for all ages! Proceeds from this event are used to provide one scholarship at each of the Coweta County High Schools to students who have decided to major in education upon entering college.

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
11 a.m. at Veterans Park, 30 Temple Avenue, Downtown Newnan
Annual ceremony honoring all who served. Lunch provided for the public at the Coweta Veterans Club (130 Veterans Club Road, Newnan) immediately following.

TOYS FOR TOTS OFF ROAD 4X4 TOY DRIVE & RIDE

Entry Fee for this ride event is 1 new, unwrapped toy per person. Food Trucks and trophies. Ride starts at Great South Harley-Davidson and ends at Red Oak Creek Covered Bridge.
