• Friday, November 7 – Mostly sunny with a high near 74 degrees and southwest winds gusting to 15 mph. Overnight, 80% rain chance with a low near 59.
• Saturday, November 8 – Partly sunny with a high near 74. Overnight, a 60% rain chance and a low of 58.

• Sunday, November 9 – Mostly sunny with a high near 67. Overnight low of 31.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7

TODDLER STORYTIME
10 am, Newnan Carnegie Library, 1 LaGrange Street, Newnan • 770-683-1347
Join the folks at the Carnegie Library for story time! Each session will explore a new theme through books, songs, and body movement. Activities will be followed by a themed craft or open play. This program is recommended for children ages 1-3, but siblings are welcome. No registration required!

HOMESCHOOL: SALAMANDER ID & WINTER BEHAVIOR
10 am-Noon, Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bob White Way, Newnan • 770-254-7271
Join the folks at Chattahoochee Bend State Park for a hike to the Wild Turkey creek to search for and identify salamanders. Learn the different species of the Piedmont Region, what they eat and their winter behaviors. $5 parking, $3 a child. Call the Visitor Center to prepay.

SAHS ANNUAL AUCTION FUNDRAISER
6 pm, Senoia Area Historical Society, 6 Couch Street, Senoia • 770-727-9580
The Senoia Area Historical Society invites the community to its Annual Auction Fundraiser. The evening will feature delicious Italian food catered by Il Porto di Venezia Restaurant, creating an authentic culinary experience for attendees while they support local history preservation efforts. A cash bar will be available for drink purchases. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on an exciting array of items during both silent and live auctions. Auction offerings include several unique travel and dining adventures, hand-crafted specialty items, and beautiful gift baskets donated by Senoia area businesses. For those dreaming of an oceanfront escape, SAHS is also offering a special raffle for a week’s stay at the Palmetto Dunes Ocean Front Resort in Hilton Head. With only 75 raffle tickets available at $75 each, the odds are in your favor – but act quickly, as they’re sure to sell out! OKLAHOMA YOUTH EDITION
7:30 pm, Newnan Theatre Company, 24 1st Avenue, Newnan • 770-683-6282
This 3-night performance is Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration and remains, in many ways, their most innovative, setting the standards and rules of modern musical theatre. In a Western territory just after the turn of the 20th century, a high-spirited rivalry between local farmers and cowboys provides a colorful background for Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, a feisty farm girl, to play out their love story. Their romantic journey, as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road, contrasts with the comic exploits of brazen Ado Annie and hapless Will Parker in a musical adventure embracing hope, determination and the promise of a new land. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8

PAPER SHREDDING AND TEXTILE RECYCLING
8 am-Noon, Newnan City Hall, 25 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Keep Newnan Beautiful is set to host a dual recycling event. The event will feature Paper Shredding and KNB’s second-ever Textile Recycling. Both will take place in the parking lot behind Newnan’s City Hall. The Paper Shredding portion is the final of four such events in 2025. The first three bags or boxes are FREE for Coweta County residents. After that, it’s $3 per bag or box.There are no fees or limits to the Textile Recycling segment. SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 am – 1 pm, 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 am-1 pm, Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET
9 am-1 pm, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.

OWL PUKE SCIENCE

Whoooo wants to be a scientist? Get ready to get a little gross and a bit curious. Kids will be guided by a Park Ranger and dissect sterilized, real owl pellets to uncover what these night hunters have been eating. Learn about Georgia owls, their diet and habitats. After the activity, families can stay to explore ChildrenConnect. It’s going to be a hoot of a good time!

27TH ANNUAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA COWETA CHRISTMAS
9 am-3 pm, Coweta County Fairgrounds, 275 Pine Road, Newnan
Free and open to the public. Local Children’s Choral and Dance Groups, Vendors selling Christmas gifts, Photos with Santa, Children’s Crafts (Minimum charge/Cash only), Food and Drinks. Fun for all ages. This event is sponsored by Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understandings. Proceeds from this event are used to provide one scholarship at each of the Coweta County High Schools to students who have decided to major in education upon entering college. Monies raised also are used to assist other Community Needs.

OLDE 85 MUSIC FESTIVAL
11 am-10 pm, Senoia Beer Company, 1 Main Street, Senoia
Senoia Beer Company & Real People Music presents the second annual Olde 85 Music Festival brought to you by Producer Mezcal and Agalima Organics. EDUCATIONAL SERIES – COWETA’S SERVICE & SACRIFICE
1 pm, Coweta County Genealogical Society, 8 Carmichael Street, Newnan
Drop in to hear local historian Steve Quesinberry speak on Coweta’s Service and Sacrifice during both WWI and WWII. This promises to be both educational and a moving tribute to our local boys who defended our Freedoms in both war efforts. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn more about those who served in the World Wars both on the fields of battle and on the home front.

LEGACY’S HARVEST FESTIVAL

TARA WINDS FALL COLORS CONCERT

It’s the second concert of the season at the Nixon Centre for Performing Arts. Celebrating 37 years, Tara Winds is an Atlanta-based symphonic band of college students, teachers, and retired educators, as well as several musicians from a variety of other professions. The organization promotes musical excellence and community engagement, performing high-quality symphonic music and offering educational programs for young musicians.
