• Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving) – Sunny with a high near 51 degrees. Northwest winds gusting to 20 mph. Overnight low of 29.
• Friday, November 28 – Sunny with a high of 49. Overnight low a chilly 27.
• Saturday, November 29 – Sunny with a high of 51. Overnight low of 37.

• Sunday, November 30 – Mostly cloudy with a high of 58 and a 40 percent rain chance. Overnight low of 43 (50% rain chance).

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28

PLAID FRIDAY
10 am-5 pm, Downtown Newnan
A Main Street Newnan event. Shop in Downtown Newnan and simplify your Day-After-Thanksgiving experience! The name “Plaid Friday” celebrates the idea of LOCAL! Plaid Friday is the relaxing and enjoyable alternative to the big box store “Black Friday,” and is designed to promote both local and independently owned businesses during the holidays. Wear plaid attire during Plaid Friday and expect to SAVE, as numerous downtown businesses will offer a significant discount to any customer wearing Plaid clothing!

SANTA’S ARRIVAL EVENT
10:30 am, LaGrange Mall, 1501 Lafayette Parkway, LaGrange
Join the folks at LaGrange Mall for Santa’s Special Arrival. The community is invited for a grand entrance that’s sure to sleigh! Come join the celebration as Santa makes his grand arrival, and visit with local organizations sharing holiday cheer. Bring your family and join in on the fun! Photos with Santa will begin promptly after his arrival.

SANTA ON THE SQUARE
6-8 pm, North Courthouse Square, Downtown Newnan
This annual event is hosted by Main Street Newnan and it starts after Plaid Friday. Santa will arrive downtown in a Fire Truck, and will immediately light the Christmas tree located on the Court House Square. After the lighting of the Christmas tree, children are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and read him their Christmas list!

SWEETLAND ON ICE
Noon-9 p.m., Sweetland Amphitheatre, 110 Smith Street, LaGrange • 706-298-5434
Sweetland Amphitheatre has a covered 5,500 square foot open-air ice-skating rink provided and operated by the Sweetland team. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the festive atmosphere, skating for all ages, a spectator section with heaters to enjoy the ice-skating action, and affordable concessions. FANTASY IN LIGHTS
6-10 p.m., Callaway Gardens, 17617 Highway 27, Pine Mountain
A beloved Christmas tradition shines even brighter this holiday season! Enjoy a festive journey along the classic seven-mile light show in your own car. SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 am – 1 pm, 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 am-1 pm, Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
10 am-5 pm, Downtown Newnan
Small Business Saturday is an annual shopping tradition dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 and is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This event supports the local economy and promotes our community.

WOODEN CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT CRAFT

Want to make some super cute, totally unique Christmas ornaments with your family? We’re having a fun painting party with a park ranger! They’ll assist you in creating wooden ornaments that will be perfect gifts or beautiful additions to your tree this year. All the paints and supplies are included – just bring your holiday spirit! THE NUTCRACKER
3 and 7 pm, Wadsworth Auditorium, 25 Jefferson Street, Newnan
Southern Arc Dance Center returns with its annual holiday production of The Nutcracker with three performances scheduled – two on Saturday – at Wadsworth Auditorium.
