Veterans Day: World War I and Beyond

Guest speaker Willard Womack will discuss Veterans Day and its history at the Newnan Carnegie Library on Tuesday, November 7.

Womack will cover World War I, the Veterans Day holiday, stories of veterans – well-known and not – and more.

“Our community loves learning about history!” says Jessica Dunnington, the Newnan Carnegie Library Program Associate. “We have amazing guest speakers and the topics are always super fascinating, so people really get into them. Mr. Womack is an engaging and knowledgeable speaker and we look forward to having him back at the Carnegie!”
