FRIDAY, JUNE 21
NERF FORTNITE #2
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Coweta County Parks & Recreation, Temple Avenue Complex, 39 Hospital Road, Newnan
For ages 7-14. Participants will have a great opportunity for team building and communication in an exciting, fast-paced activity where they will team up, strategize, and conquer the other team in an all-out Nerf battle. Various obstacles, gear, and nerf guns will be in place for a fun activity! Child-led Nerf games will be based on Fortnite, Star Wars, Avengers, Among Us, and many more! PLEASE BRING A PACKED LUNCH! All equipment will be provided (Nerf guns, foam bullets, eye protection, etc.) – you may bring personal eye protection only. Please bring lunch and a personal water bottle. SUMMER WINED-UP
5-9 p.m., Downtown Newnan
The event is SOLD OUT. Hosted by Main Street Newnan, it’s a downtown wine-tasting event. Individual tastings occur at different downtown businesses, where guests should expect to perform a “wine walk” that moves through over 30 host locations.
SENOIA ALIVE AFTER FIVE
5-9 p.m., Downtown Senoia
This month Senoia Alive After Five’s theme is Journey Through The 80s so they are doing an 80s Costume Contest During AA5! Break out the neon clothes, dust off the can of hairspray and show us what the 80s was for you! Fun activities for kids, food trucks, vendors, shopping and live music.

Please join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Sarah Leatherman as we go on a journey of sound healing. We will begin with a few minutes of gentle movement to relax you, then work through some guided breath-work practices to help center and focus the mind, followed by an immersion of sound allowing you to drift into a meditative state. Relaxation and focusing on the sound can have a calming effect, bring you more into the present moment, and help to create a deeper relationship with Self. Instruments you will experience include crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, koshi chimes, seed chimes, and thunder sticks.Participants are welcome to bring props or yoga mats to sit or lay on.
