Remembering 9-11; Candlelight Vigil set for tonight

Today, the staff at Winters Media & Publishing, Inc., is pausing to reflect on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, some 23 years ago. Those attacks changed America and the world forever.

Our thoughts are with all who lost loved ones. We honor the memories of those who passed and the many, many who helped. God bless America. We will #NeverForget.

Here in Coweta County this evening, Coweta Remembers 9/11/2001 – a Candlelight Vigil  Cermony – will be held at 7 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Newnan. The event is organized by the Newnan VFW Auxiliary Post 2667 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 57. Bring your chairs.
