City of Hope’s Annual Survivor Walk

Each year, City of Hope hosts “Celebrate Life” at each of its campuses for five-year survivors of cancer with an emotional walk, lunch, and inclusion of a leaf on the Survivor Tree.

The event in Newnan honored nearly 200 cancer survivors, their families, and their caregivers. Now in its 35th year, the ceremony welcomes a new class of survivors each year, including those treated at City of Hope Atlanta.
