Henry Saunders, the general manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is primed to welcome world-famous singer Tito Merelli, known as Il Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only as the star of the opera. GUIDED NATURE HIKE

Join the naturalist at Chattahoochee Bend State Park in a guided nature hike. Wear a good pair of hiking shoes. Bring a bottle of water and don’t forget to bring your camera. $5 a person and $5 for parking.
PEACHTREE CITY MARKET

Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.
BE WELL SHAMROCK DASH
9 a.m., 590 Heatherden Avenue, Fayetteville
The inaugural 5K Be Well Shamrock Dash will be held at the Town at Trilith. The race will be a vibrant and festive event aimed at bringing the community together supporting Trilith Foundation. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Runners, and walkers are all welcome. Participants are encouraged to dress in festive St. Patrick’s Day attire, adding to the joyous atmosphere. CAMPING AND SURVIVAL ESSENTIALS

Come join the Chattahoochee Bend State Park staff and learn how to build campfires. Learn about hiking techniques and how to use a map, compass, or a GPS device and what you need for campfire. Also, learn to identify edible plants what they are and where to find them. $15 per person and $5 for parking.
3RD SATURDAY SOIREE: PADDY IN MAIN STREET

Join Main Street Fayetteville and your favorite downtown businesses for their monthly 3rd Saturday Soiree: Paddy in Main Street! Businesses all over Downtown Fayetteville will offer food and drink specials, shopping specials, and other St. Patrick’s Day-themed activities. Join your fellow Irish-for-a-day friends for drink specials in our fun-filled, self-guided Shamrock “Pub” Crawl from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. with special St. Patrick’s Day-themed food and beverages. The Main Street Fayetteville team will be on the Historic Courthouse lawn from 2-6 p.m. Stop by with your little ones for an all-ages Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt through the Historic Courthouse Lawn, where they can find gold coins and win prizes! Enjoy a live band; James Michael & Taking Care Of Classics Band from 3-5 p.m. Threlkeld Academy of Music and Arts featuring Atlanta bagpiper Brad Beaton will perform there from 5:30-6 p.m.
