FRIDAY, JUNE 20

SUMMER WINED-UP
5-9 pm, Downtown Newnan
The event is SOLD OUT. Hosted by Main Street Newnan, it’s a downtown wine-tasting event. Individual tastings occur at different downtown businesses, where guests should expect to perform a “wine walk” that moves through over 30 host locations. Folks that have purchased tickets must check in at the Newnan Carnegie Library (2nd floor) beginning at 5 pm to get the “wine walk” started. Don’t fret if you didn’t get a ticket…you can still head downtown and grab your favorite to-go beverage from one of our many establishments and enjoy the atmosphere on the square

ALIVE AFTER FIVE
5-9 pm, Downtown Senoia
Get ready to change your latitude and attitude! This Friday night at Alive After Five, grab your flip flops, tropical shirts, and lost shakers of salt because we’ll be smooth sailing in Senoia-Ville with Ula, a Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Don’t forget your lawn chairs. Band plays from 6:30-8:30 pm.

It’s the 48th year bringing you only locally grown, fresh seasonal produce, beef, eggs, honey, flowers, baked goods, handmade crafts and so much more! This Guy’s BBQ will be there in case you are hungry.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 am – 1 pm, 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

MOORE’S BRIDGE TO MCINTOSH PADDLE TRIP
8:30 am-3 pm, Moore’s Bridge Park, 615 Black Dirt Road, Whitesburg
Join Chattahoochee Riverkeeper on Saturday, June 21 for a guided paddle on the Chattahoochee River as it flows from Moore’s Bridge Park to McIntosh Reserve Park. This day outing will cover approximately seven river miles and include mostly flat water with occasional class 1 and 2 shoals. $30 fee per person to participate. We’ll meet at 8:30 am at Moore’s Bridge Park to unload boats, then drive and park our vehicles at McIntosh Reserve Park followed by a shuttle back to Moore’s Bridge Park. We anticipate finishing the paddle between 1-3 pm. To register, click HERE.

SERENBE FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET
9 am-1 pm, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
This weekly market partners with quality vendors including growers, artisans, craftmakers and healthy food producers. The market is filled with fresh produce, delicious foods, fine arts and crafts.

INAUGURAL JUNETEENTH PARADE
10 am, Downtown Newnan
The NAACP Coweta County will proudly host its first-ever Juneteenth Parade in the heart of downtown Newnan, a powerful celebration of freedom, unity, and culture. Presented by the Coweta County NAACP Youth Council, this vibrant event commemorates June 19, 1865—the day when the last enslaved African Americans in the U.S. were declared free. The parade honors this legacy while showcasing the voices of our youth, local organizations, schools, and community partners. Parade highlights include marching bands and local performers, creative floats, community groups, cultural showcases and artistic displays. The parade will begin at Veteran’s Memorial Park (Temple Avenue Park) at 10 a.m., proceed south on Jackson / LaGrange Street and will end at the Long Place and Salbide Avenue intersection.

JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

E.Y.O. Inc. will host a Juneteenth Celebration in First Avenue Park. There will be music, vendors, live entertainment, cultural exhibitions, and more!

JOURNEY TO CALM

Please join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Sarah Leatherman as we go on a journey of sound healing. We will begin with a few minutes of gentle movement to relax you, then work through some guided breath-work practices to help center and focus the mind, followed by an immersion of sound allowing you to drift into a meditative state. Relaxation and focusing on the sound can have a calming effect, bring you more into the present moment, and help to create a deeper relationship with Self. Instruments you will experience include crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, koshi chimes, seed chimes, and thunder sticks.Participants are welcome to bring props or yoga mats to sit or lay on. TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY

BROWN-BELL MINI GOLF DAY

NITWITS FREE IMPROV WORKSHOP

Learn the basic skills of improv and how to translate them to a live performance, along with keys to navigating an interactive audience and the differences between an improv troupe, an improv game, and an improv show. Each lesson begins with warmups and social connections that will evolve the individual strengths and weaknesses of our students. All workshops will start at 2 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. The workshops will focus on Improv Goals and are designed to welcome beginners and refresh veterans. These workshops are put together with busy summers in mind and do not require participants to attend every week. All those who attend any workshop are welcome to perform in the N.I.T.W.I.T.S. performances on August 1 & 2! Standouts may be invited to become an official member of N.I.T.W.I.T.S. for the 2025-2026 Season. This workshop is open to anyone age 18 and older.
