All Coweta County Schools open on Wednesday, January 17

The Coweta County School System will open for normal operations on Wednesday, January 17.

The school system has monitored weather conditions with the help of the National Weather Service and the local Emergency Management Agency, as well as road conditions, and has no report of road hazards anticipated for Coweta tomorrow morning.

Extreme cold conditions are expected early tomorrow morning.  A Wind Chill Advisory is anticipated from 5 p.m. this afternoon through 10 a.m. Wednesday morning for dangerous wind chills across north Georgia and portions of central Georgia. As always, parents may make the decisions that they think are best for their families.  We urge students and employees to dress warmly for the morning and exercise caution.
