Coweta County School System: Winter Weather Advisory

The Coweta County School System is continuing to monitor the possibility of another round of inclement weather conditions in Georgia and the Coweta County area this weekend.
Based on current forecasts, all school extra-curricular activities scheduled for Saturday, January 31, have been canceled. Schools will communicate with students and parents regarding a rescheduling of these events.
On Friday, The National Weather Service upgraded Coweta to a Winter Storm Advisory. Current forecasts show continued cold temperatures in our area with a chance of snow showers on Saturday.
The Coweta School System does not currently anticipate that normal school operations will be affected on Monday, February 2. School officials will continue to monitor conditions, and will advise parents if these circumstances change, however.
