Coweta County Schools closed on Tuesday due to inclement weather

All Coweta Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, for students and employees, due to inclement weather.

As of 5:45 a.m., the current forecast calls for freezing rain, freezing drizzle and wintry mix from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., with temperatures expected to drop further throughout the morning. Due to the forecast of frozen precipitation and potential icy road conditions, the Coweta County School System will be closed today.

The Coweta County School System will continue to monitor the cold front and inclement winter weather that is affecting Georgia and our area throughout the day and into tonight.
