Day 10 – Princess and Pirate Fun at the Coweta County Fair

Only two days remain for this year’s Kiwanis Coweta County Fair with today’s theme “Princess and Pirate Fun.”
Saturday’s Event Schedule is loaded with competitions and entertainment. Headlining events include the daily Individual Exhibits in Exhibit Hall, the Science Guy Donald White, a Rabbit Agility Competition, two Princess Parties, a Police K-9 Demonstration, Cattlemen’s Cook-off, the Lumberjack and Lumberjill Competition, a Frozen Sing-a-long, plus the Iron P Petting Zoo, Lew-E’s Comedy Circus and all the rides you could want.
The Fair hours on Saturday are noon to midnight.
The weather has cooperated the entire run of this year’s Fair and will do so again today. Expect sunny and clear skies with a high of 81 degrees this afternoon and then dropping to the 60s by closing time.
Admission today is $5. Ride Armbands are $35. Parking is free.
Day 10 Schedule – Saturday, Sept. 24 (Hours: Noon – Midnight)
2-10 p.m. – Individual Exhibits open, Exhibit Hall
(Ag, Art, Baked Good, Handicrafts, Horticulture, Photography and Preserved Foods)
2 p.m. – Donald White, the Science Guy, Exhibit Building
2 p.m. – Rabbit Agility Competition, Ag Building
3 p.m. – Princess Party, Walker Horne Stage
4 p.m. – Police K-9 Demonstration, Livestock Arena
6 p.m. – Cattlemen’s Cook-off, Exhibit Building
6 p.m. – Lumberjack & Lumberjill Contest, Livestock Arena
6 p.m. – Frozen Sing-A-Long, Walker Horne Stage
7 p.m. – Princess Party, Walker Horne Stage
