The Senoia Area Historical Society will host a Meet and Greet at its History Museum with Dr. Gary L. McIntosh on Friday, Sept. 23.

Dr. McIntosh is the great, great, great grandson of Chief William McIntosh, a signer of the Treaty of Indian Springs. And he is also a direct descendant of Chief McIntosh’s mother, Princess Senoia, and of Chief Dode McIntosh who visited SAHS in the 1980s.

Dr. McIntosh resides in Temecula, Calif. He and his wife Carol will be at this free event which is from 1 to 4 p.m. Those in attendance can hear first-hand about the McIntosh Family Legacy and Creek Indian history.

The Senoia Area Historical Society History Museum is located at 6 Couch Street in Senoia.
