Check out what Sara Greer’s been up to!

She’s already proven herself as a gifted singer/songwriter and it was only a matter of time before her skills in the studio would shine through.

A native of Newnan, Sara has been staying busy in the studio, working on recording music of all genres. She recently teamed up with up and coming singer-songwriter Jay Pruitt to record his hit single “Unalived,” which has garnered over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone since its release in February. Greer recorded, mixed and mastered the track from her home studio.

Since the massive success, Greer and Pruitt have begun to work on a new song titled “Alone.” The ‘80s and ‘00s pop-inspired track discusses themes surrounding leaving a long-time romantic partner, and the self-empowerment that can come with it if one allows it to. The track is scheduled to be released this fall. Pruitt is a senior at UWG and resides in Carrollton.

Greer has also recently begun collaborating with singer-songwriter U.S. Bunny of Palmetto. She will be engineering Bunny’s all original EP, “The Man,” which draws musical elements from Latin and indigenous genres.

Senoia native Ziggy O’hare sought out the opportunity to bring on Greer as part of their Magic Spade Media and Entertainment™, based out of Hampton. Greer & Ziggy both attended CEC where Pat Patten was their instructor. Greer says “that’s where I learned everything I know about recording, mixing and mastering.”

Greer is also preparing to do a complete rebrand of her own music, possibly under a new artist name. She continues to work on writing and recording an EP of her own. More details to be released soon.
