Pictured above (top to bottom) are some of the local artists to perform in the area this month – The Band ONE, Front Porch Collective and Barry Waldrep.

By KRIS YOUMANS, Special to The Paper

“Music gives a soul to the Universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination & life to everything.” … Plato

Newnan’s Kris Youmans fronts the Kris Youmans Band which has a unique roots, country sound with a bit of Western swing that makes them a perfect edition to GPB’s Georgia’s Country Connection SERIES.

We are fortunate that Kris writes The Music column for us each month.
