Newnan Utilities: Caring Customers Grants awarded to CORRAL, Swing Chic Foundation

From Newnan Utilities Press Release
At Newnan Utilities, we’re committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Thanks to our generous customers and their support of the Caring Customers program, we can extend that impact even further.
“We’re proud to support both long-standing and emerging organizations that make a difference in our community,” said Melissa Payton, Program Manager at Newnan Utilities. “Thanks to our Caring Customers, we can help fund programs that create meaningful opportunities for those they serve.”
Through the generosity of our customers, the Caring Customers program has supported more than 40 local nonprofits, providing assistance in areas such as basic needs, environmental and music education, foster care, mental health, and more.
The Caring Customers advisory board recently awarded grants to two deserving local organizations:
CORRAL – Project: Horse Sponsorship
A $2,400 grant will cover the cost of routine care for one horse for a year, ensuring a healthy horse for the success of their riding program.
Swing Chic Foundation – Project: Special Needs Golf Program
A $2,600 grant will help equip adults with special needs with golf clubs, training materials, and travel support as they prepare for the 2025 Special Olympics Golf Tournament.
