In celebration of National Healthcare Week (May 10-16), more than 1,200 Piedmont Newnan employees were treated to lunch in appreciation for their tireless devotion to caring for patients – especially during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

The luncheon was sponsored by Delta Community Credit Union.

“The pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but support from partners like Delta Community makes a real difference for our employees, and that can also benefit patients,” said Vicki Kaiser, executive director of Community Affairs, Oncology and Support Services at Piedmont Newnan. “Events like this are restful and encouraging, and give us a renewed sense of purpose so that we are even better able to serve our community.”

“Given the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we are especially grateful for opportunities to support hard-working medical professionals,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “We share Piedmont Newnan’s commitment to protecting individuals and families, and offer our sincere thanks to employees there.”
