The Newnan-Coweta Public Safety Foundation hosted a breakfast meeting for local law enforcement officials on August 14, 2025. The event was held at Redneck Gourmet in Newnan to thank them for their leadership and to invite them and their departments to the annual public safety appreciation luncheon this fall.
The Public Safety Foundation exists to support first responders in Coweta County and to raise awareness of their hard work year-round.
Foundation Chair Pat Craven welcomed the group and told them about some of the Foundation’s efforts over the years, which have most recently included purchasing equipment such as drones, the purchase of K-9s, and the awarding of scholarships to children of local LEOs.
She noted that the 27th Public Safety Appreciation Week Luncheon is coming up October 9 at the Coweta County Fairgrounds. Individuals and groups who would like to contribute to this effort may send a check to Newnan-Coweta Public Safety Foundation, P.O. Box 1113, Newnan, GA 30264.
