Update – Friday Evening Report: Coweta rises to 282 cases

UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s Evening Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Friday, May 15.

The Friday Evening Report shows that Coweta County’s numbers increased by one new case since midday today bringing the totals to 282 cases, 4 deaths and 47 hospitalized.

Also today, Georgia recorded 795 new cases, 60 deaths, 144 hospitalizations and 21 people admitted to ICU.

In the last two days combined (Thursday and Friday), Georgia has had 1345 new cases, 71 deaths, 210 folks hospitalized and 38 admitted to ICU.

Overall, Georgia has a total of 36,772 cases, 1588 deaths, 6518 hospitalized and 1549 ICU admits.  The total number of tests – 301,874 (an increase of 15,993 from yesterday).

The counties in Georgia with at least 1,000 cases – Fulton 3703, DeKalb 2751, Gwinnett 2597, Cobb 2395, Hall 2140, Dougherty 1662.

Today’s Midday Daily Status Report (1 p.m.) has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Friday, May 15.

The Friday Midday Report shows that Coweta County’s numbers increased by one new case overnight bringing the totals to 281 cases, 4 deaths and 47 hospitalized.

Overall statewide, the report indicates 36,681 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 704 new cases overnight. The report also shows 29 new deaths overnight, 64 hospitalizations and 6 admitted to ICU. Totals are now 1557 deaths, 6438 hospitalized and 1534 ICU admits.
