Sharpsburg Book Fair set for Saturday, Aug. 27

The inaugural Sharpsburg Book Fair is set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the A.O. Bridges Community Center and Grounds in Sharpsburg.
This one-day, free event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is co-hosted by the Town of Sharpsburg and Hometown Novel Writers.
Readers will be able to meet local published Georgia authors to talk about their books. Guest authors and author panel discussions will be ongoing throughout the day. Watch for the full schedule of events coming soon. Food trucks will be there and childrens, middle grade, and YA authors with their books will be featured as well.
Proceeds from the event will benefit selected high school students with scholarships to the Atlanta Writers Conference as well as a donation to FERST READERS of Coweta County.
The A.O. Bridges Community Center and Grounds is located at 105 Main Street in Sharpsburg.
