Now that Super Bowl LVIII is over, it signifies the end of football season for sports fans.
The calendar now reflects pro and college basketball with both baseball and soccer getting ready to get their respective seasons started. This week, the Atlanta Hawks have a pair of NBA games with Chicago and at Charlotte before a break and the NBA All-Star game on Sunday.
In other professional sports, the Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers report Thursday with the first full-squad workout set for Feb. 20. The Braves open their Spring Training Baseball Schedule on Feb. 24 against Tampa Bay. And Atlanta United also kicks off their 2024 regular season at the Columbus Crew on Feb. 24. United won a 2-0 Club Friendly soccer match on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
