THURSDAY, AUGUST 31
Pilliard Dickle’s 1 1/2 Man Show
7 p.m. at Historic Train Depot, 60 East Broad Street, Newnan
The Newnan-Coweta Historical Society is bringing one of Newnan’s most imaginative performers to the Historic Train Depot for one night only. Pilliard Dickle will reprise his 1 1/2 Man Show. Dickle serves up an out-of-the-envelope selection of original songs that weave stories of everything from nuns with guns to killer bees to a dog who’s running for mayor. Plus he’ll debut newly-written material, never before heard except in his living room where he’s tried it out for the cat. The Show benefits The Newnan-Coweta Historical Society and promises to be a fun way to bid farewell to summer. Tickets are $15 per person, or $20 at the door. VIP tickets are $35, which includes VIP seating, two drinks and Pilliard Dickle’s calendar book. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Labor Day Weekend Sidewalk Sale
10 a.m. in Downtown Newnan
The Labor Day Sidewalk Sale is an annual tradition! This is an all-day shopping event that starts on the Friday before Labor Day. During the Labor Day Sidewalk Sale, visitors are invited to walk the downtown streets and shop the best deals of the year.

Sunrise on the Square 5K Race
8 a.m. in Downtown Newnan
The 5K race begins in downtown Newnan and spans through “The City of Homes,” where runners will catch a glimpse of the beautiful, historic in-town neighborhoods and commercial district.The race features a 5K USATF certified course (chipped timing), where runners will enjoy the diversity of terrain, including: long flat stretches, downhill and uphill sections. Saturday and Sunday. Free Admission and parking for this annual tradition of Miles-Long Junkin’ and Treasure Hunting. Multiple locations down Franklin Highway. Senoia Farmers Market
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 40 Travis Street, Senoia
It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. The market also features handmade crafts, such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities. EVERY Saturday.
Keith’s Corner 50th Anniversary Craft Show
9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 448 Highway 34 West, Newnan
Saturday and Sunday. Many different vendors- crafts, arts, Avon, jewelry, toys, candles, furniture, crochete, home decor, kids clothes, and so much more. Serenbe Farmers Market

Peachtree City Market

This market brings approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats, honey, eggs, prepared foods and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find the consummate gift for the foodie in your life and visitors will also find live music going on.
Market Day
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Courthouse Square, Downtown Newnan
Hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month. The Market features over 55 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.
Serenbe Farms Tour
3-4 p.m. at Serenbe Farms, 8715 Atlanta-Newnan Road, Chattahoochee Hills

Senoia Porchfest
3-7 p.m. in Downtown Senoia
Senoia PorchFest is a hometown community celebration where porches and yards become stages for local and regional bands and musicians. Senoia’s streets become artist galleries and walk-up restaurants. Attendees will enjoy 20 local and regional musicians along withartists, food trucks and drink proprietors plus kids activities. All performances are free with tips for the musicians suggested. A VIP concert is from 7-10 p.m. PorchFest is a pedestrian event. Last year’s PorchFest was attended by over 2000 music enthusiasts. The streets where PorchFest will take place will be closed to all automobile and golf cart traffic. Attendees are encouraged to park in downtown Senoia and walk to the porches and stages. Walking shoes and folding chairs are recommended. Limited golf cart shuttles will be available to get participants to the PorchFest perimeter, but no transportation will be available within the perimeter of the event. The Avenue / Peachtree City Labor Day 5K
8 a.m. at The Avenue, 239 City Circle, Peachtree City
Come celebrate the holiday at The Avenue Peachtree City’s Labor Day 5K. Grab your two and four-legged friends and join us! The 5K route is a cart path & street combination beginning and ending at The Avenue. Walk-up Registration at 6:45-7:45 am.
