FRIDAY, APRIL 4

TODDLER STORY TIME
10-11 am, Newnan Carnegie Library, 1 LaGrange Street, Newnan • 770-683-1347
Join the folks at the Carnegie Library for story time! Each session, we will explore a new theme through books, songs, and body movement. Activities will be followed by a themed craft or open play. This program is recommended for children ages 1-3, but siblings are welcome. No registration required!

CAPTURE NATURE WITH A NATURALIST
2:30-3:30 pm, Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bob White Way, Newnan • 770-254-7271
Join the Chattahoochee Bend State Park Naturalist on an easy 1 hour hike to find and identify local bird species. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring your camera, binoculars and water. Spaces limited, call the office to get your spot. $7 per person and $5 for parking.

FIRST FRIDAY AT FIRST AVENUE
4-7 pm, First Avenue Park, Downtown Newnan
Sponsored by Newnan Leisure Services. It’s the Bounce House Extravaganza with food trucks and crafts from Newnan Carnegie Library onsite. There will be inflatables – a 20 ft double slide, 15 ft obstacle course, (2) boomerang obstacle courses, spring bug obstacle course and a Gaga ball pit!! Free event. To RSVP, click HERE.

THE LOCALS MARKET
5-9 pm, Main Street, Grantville
The Locals Market is a great time for the whole family! Enjoy all that the small businesses have to offer, eat some great food and have fun with our free children’s activities!

N.I.T.W.I.T.S.: IDOL!

Not everybody can be a singing sensation, but they sure can try on N.I.T.W.I.T.S.: Idol! Follow a ragtag group of improv players as they try to win the hearts and laughter of the infamous judges. Will they take home the coveted N.I.T.W.I.T.S.: Idol statuette? Will their songs go viral over social media? Will they be ridiculed and scorned? The competition will certainly be interesting, if not fierce, on the best singing show you’ve never seen before, N.I.T.W.I.T.S.: Idol! Tickets are $10. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday. Fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans and much more.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

2nd ANNUAL CRUZIN’ CAR SHOW
9 am-2 pm, Sharpsburg Pizza & Pub, 6549 Highway 54, Sharpsburg
This is a family event. Bring your family, friends, and your appetite to enjoy the classic cars that come out. Serving food and drinks at 11 am.

DOWNTOWN NEWNAN MARKET DAY
10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Courthouse Square, downtown Newnan
It’s the second Market Day of 2025. The event is hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month. The Market features over 55 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.

BARK & BRUNCH

Fundraising event for the Newnan-Coweta History Center and Newnan-Coweta Humane Society. Come join us for a paws-itively fun event. Bring your furry friends and enjoy a delicious brunch while supporting a great cause. All proceeds will go towards helping animals in need. Don’t miss out on a tail-wagging good time! Two Egg Drop Events hosted by Crossroads Church. They are collecting 100,000 eggs for each unique egg hunt experience! Your family will enjoy inflatables, carnival rides, food trucks, family activities, and helicopter egg drops! There’s even a sensory-friendly egg hunt for our friends with special needs! ANIMAL TRACKS
