With the weather turning chilly, our little bird buddies could really use a tasty snack. Why not get crafty and make your own pinecone bird feeder? It’s super fun and a great way to help out our feathered friends. Location: Visitor Center. Cost is $5 kid / $5 parking. You must call to reserve your spot.
NEWNAN TOUR OF HOMES: CHRISTMAS TOUR
4-9 pm, Downtown Newnan
Hosted by Newnan Presbyterian School. Newnan, the City of Homes, evokes images of antebellum houses, lovingly restored to their original splendor. The Christmas Tour of Homes is an opportunity for everyone to see them, all decked out in their holiday best. Refreshments and complimentary shuttles. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking HERE or at Gillyweeds in downtown Newnan. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at Will Call at Newnan Presbyterian School, 38 Greenville Street, starting at 3:30 pm Friday.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
10 am-3 pm, Newnan FUMC Annex Building, 35 Greenville Street, Downtown Newnan
The Coweta Association of Retired Educators (CARE) will host their annual Christmas Bazaar in the First United Methodist Church Annex, located at 35 Greenville Street in downtown Newnan. A wide assortment of donated items, including home baked goods, seasonal crafts, holiday décor, and“white elephant” pieces, will be available for purchase. Payments in cash and personal checks will beaccepted. Proceeds will benefit the CARE scholarship fund as well as the local unit’s contributions to its parent organization, Georgia Retired Educators Association (GREA). This year CARE will award a $1,000 scholarship to three Coweta County School System seniors who plan to become teachers.

NEWNAN MARKET DAY

It’s the final monthly Market Day of 2025 in downtown Newnan. The event is hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month. The Market features over 55 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items. Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams & jellies, pottery, art, hand-woven baskets, leather products, etc.

LIGHT UP SENOIA PARADE
4-8:30 pm, Downtown Senoia
Get ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at our annual Light Up Senoia Parade! This cherished tradition brings the community together for an evening of festivities and Christmas cheer! Parade begins promptly at 6:30 pm. Santa’s Workshop opens at 4 p.m. The Light Up Senoia tree lighting will immediately follow the parade. And then Santa will receive visitors on his sleigh until 8:30.
HOMETOWN HOLIDAY

Celebrate the kick-off to the holiday season at Hometown Holiday! Enjoy festive food, unique shopping, handmade crafts and a visit from Santa.
CHRISTMAS STAR RUN & TREE LIGHTING
5 pm, Christian City Campus, 7345 Red Oak Road, Union City
Christian City is hosting its annual Christmas Star Run in conjunction with a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 6. The race begins at 5 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m. All proceeds from the event directly benefit Christian City’s Children and Family programs. The Christmas Star Run serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and includes a 5K and a one-mile run. People of all ages are encouraged to participate, with giveaways awarded by age group and a grand prize of new running shoes for the top male and female finishers. All participants will receive a t-shirt and medal while families can enjoy holiday music, pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, coffee and sweet treats. Participants can register online until December 5 and in person on race day, December 6. Online registration is $40 for the 5K and $30 for the one-mile run and on the day of registration is $45 for the 5K and $35 for the one-mile run. Children under 5 can participate for free.
