The weekend weather forecast lists no rain chances until Sunday (Christmas Eve) night. Highs should be in the mid-60s with lows around 40. Check with each event to see if it is weather permitting / rain or shine. All events are subject to change.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22

FANTASY IN LIGHTS

SWEETLAND ON ICE
5-9 p.m. at Sweetland Amphitheater, 110 Smith Street, LaGrange • 706-298-5434
During the winter season, Sweetland Amphitheatre hosts a covered 5,500 square foot open-air ice-skating rink provided and operated by the Sweetland team. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the festive atmosphere, skating for all ages, a spectator section with heaters to enjoy the ice-skating action, and affordable concessions. SOUND BATH AT TRUE BALANCE

NEWNAN CHRISTMAS CONCERT
6-9 p.m. at Newnan High School Gymnasium, 190 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Food trucks and a free Christmas concert at one of the greatest venues in Newnan…what more could you ask for!?!?! The tunes will be merry, the atmosphere joyful – it’s the perfect way to embrace the festive season. Make plans to leave the kids at home and enjoy a Christmas Night Out! Food Trucks open at 6, Concert at 7.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23

SENOIA FARMERS MARKET
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 40 Travis Street, Senoia
It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. The market also features handmade crafts, such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities.  EVERY Saturday.

SHARPSBURG WINTERFEST ICE SKATING
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 105 Main Street, Sharpsburg
Ice Skating and Winterfest Fun! Food Trucks, Coffee Truck, Gift Vendors and several no-cost Family Activities. Must sign up for ice skating slots. Tickets are $25. To sign up, click HERE.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
This market brings approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats, honey, eggs, prepared foods and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find the consummate gift for the foodie in your life and visitors will also find live music going on.
