FRIDAY, JULY 25

JAZZ IN THE PARK
7:30 pm, Newnan Centre Amphitheater, 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road, Newnan 
Free event sponsored by the Newnan Cultural Arts Commission. Experience the joys of music, laughter, and fun with Jazz in the Park for the first time at the Newnan Centre Ampitheater! Bring your family, friends, and a chair to enjoy world class jazz in this beautiful outdoor venue. This is the second in the summer series lineup with Justin Borgman headlining the event on Friday. Food trucks and outdoor bar will be available!

BACKYARD BASH MOVIE NIGHT
7:30 pm, The Avenue, 239 City Circle, Peachtree City
Summer’s heating up, and so is the fun at The Avenue’s Backyard Bash on Friday, July 25th! Enjoy cool treats, kid-friendly entertainment, and plenty of laid-back summer vibes. As the sun sets, settle in for a movie under the stars. HUNT FOR SALAMANDERS

Join our naturalist on a 1 mile hike through ferns and mayberries to the Trailhead 1 creek to hunt and identify salamanders that we may find. Wear water shoes as we will be walking through the creek. 4TH ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL BASH & BACKPACKS GIVEAWAY
1-4 pm, CEC Gymnasium, 160 Martin Luther King Drive, Newnan
Event sponsored by Coweta Family Connection and Caring Hearts of Georgia Health Services. Aiming to support 1,200 students in the local community this year.

IMPACT WORLD TOUR: FAME & GLORY
2 pm / 5 pm / 7 pm, Wadsworth Auditorium, 25 Jefferson Street, Newnan
An international group of young Christian Artists will be putting on a show combining Urban Dance, Hip-Hop, Drama and Multimedia – all with a powerful message that won’t leave you indifferent and could change your life. All three shows are FREE. The 5 pm show will be in Spanish.

NITWITS FREE IMPROV WORKSHOP
2-5 pm, Newnan Theatre Company, 24 1st Avenue, Newnan • 770-683-6282
Learn the basic skills of improv and how to translate them to a live performance, along with keys to navigating an interactive audience and the differences between an improv troupe, an improv game, and an improv show. Each lesson begins with warmups and social connections that will evolve the individual strengths and weaknesses of our students. All workshops will start at 2 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. The workshops will focus on Improv Goals and are designed to welcome beginners and refresh veterans. These workshops are put together with busy summers in mind and do not require participants to attend every week. All those who attend any workshop are welcome to perform in the N.I.T.W.I.T.S. performances on August 1 & 2! Standouts may be invited to become an official member of N.I.T.W.I.T.S. for the 2025-2026 Season. This workshop is open to anyone age 18 and older.

MOUNTED DRILL TEAM TRYOUTS
6:30 pm, Coweta County UGA Extension, 255 Pine Road, Newnan
Hosted by the Coweta County 4-H. They will offer a free skills clinic before tryouts!!! Want your kid or young adult to experience riding on a team of horse loving families? Want to improve riding skills and the skills of your horse? Come Join Their Drill Family! They are a 4-H mounted drill team dedicated to youth development and skill mastery and welcome cowgirls and cowboys ages 9 through 18 with teams for different skill levels – Green, Novice, and Varsity- Competitions five times a year and the opportunity to ride in rodeos and parades!

PICKLEBALL & WELLNESS EVENT
