FRIDAY, MARCH 7
TODDLER STORY TIME

Join the folks at the Carnegie Library for story time! Each session, we will explore a new theme through books, songs, and body movement. Activities will be followed by a themed craft or open play. This program is recommended for children ages 1-3, but siblings are welcome. No registration is required.
THE LOCALS NIGHT MARKET
5-9 p.m., Main Street, Downtown Grantville
The Locals Market is a great time for the whole family! Enjoy all that the small businesses have to offer, eat some great food and have fun with the free children’s activities!
BARBIE MOVIE, GIRLS NIGHT OUT
7:30 p.m., Wadsworth Auditorium, 25 Jefferson Street, Newnan
Newnan Leisure Services is hosting a Girls Night Out to celebrate Women’s History Month. A free showing of the movie “Barbie” will take place in historic Wadsworth Auditorium. There will be free popcorn and water while supplies last. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. The Newnan Carnegie Library will be joining in on the fun with friendship bracelet making in the lobby before the show starting at 5 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in all pink. Moviegoers can visit participating businesses around downtown Newnan to see their event-themed drink and menu specials while also grabbing a unique charm for the friendship bracelets at each location. Participating businesses include Leaf and Bean, The Bays, The Alamo, Meat N Greet, The Reverie, Pink Flamingo Kids, and Mad Mexican. Participants who collect at least four of these unique charms will be entered in a raffle. The event is free, but registration is required. To register, click HERE.

GUIDED NATURE HIKE

Join the naturalist at Chattahoochee Bend State Park in a guided nature hike. Wear a good pair of hiking shoes. Bring a bottle of water and don’t forget to bring your camera. $5 a person and $5 for parking.

COWETA SPORTS HALL OF FAME BANQUET
6 p.m., Coweta County Fairgrounds, 255 Pine Road, Newnan
The Coweta Sports Hall of Fame will induct three new members at its 22nd Annual Banquet. The 2025 Coweta Sports Hall of Fame class will include Derrick Steagall, Corey Bridges and Tim VanEgmond.
