FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11

THE LOCALS MARKET
5-9 p.m., Greenville Street Park, 51 Greenville Street, Downtown Newnan
It’s a great time for the whole community. Free event with local vendors, businesses, food trucks, activities, live music and more.

PEACHTREE CITY FALL FESTIVAL & MOVIE NIGHT
5-9 p.m., Drake Field, 155 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City
Join the City of Peachtree City for their Fall Festival & Movie Night at Drake Field! This year they are celebrating the fall season along with the PTC Police & Fire Departments for National Faith & Blue! Games, Food, Police & Fire Equipment, Canine Demo, Trunk or Treat, & More! Bring your chairs and blankets, grab some popcorn and a seat on the field for a showing of Despicable Me 4 under the stars beginning at 7 p.m.

WHOSE LINE – COMEDY SHOW
7 p.m., Coweta Veterans Club, 130 Veterans Club Road, Newnan
Come on out and laugh the night away. Some of their very own will be doing impromptu comedy just like the show. It’s free for everyone. Kitchen will open at 5:30 p.m.

PAINT RECYCLING EVENT
8 a.m.-Noon at Newnan City Hall Parking Lot, 25 LaGrange Street, Newnan
Hosted by Keep Newnan Beautiful. Fees apply at this event. Wet Paint only. Spray Paint Cans, $2 each; Latex Paint, $4 per gallon; Oil Paint, $5 per gallon; Deck/Wood Stain, $4 per gallon. Discounts apply for City of Newnan residents. For info, call 678-673-5505 or email [email protected].

SATURDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
8 a.m., Bridging The Gap, 19 1st Avenue, Newnan
Free weekly drive-thru food pantry. Boxes typically include frozen meat, fresh fruits and produce, dairy, bread and desserts. First come, first served. Registration is required on site the day of distribution.

COWETA MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEERS FALL PLANT SALE
8:30 a.m. – Noon, UGA Extension Greenhouse, 255 Pine Road, Newnan
This annual event offers Perennials, Shrubs, Trees and more. Bring your wagons and boxes for ease of shopping.

SENOIA FARMER’S MARKET
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., 40 Travis Street, Senoia
Locally-sourced Farmer’s Market, every Saturday.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.

SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., The Grange Green, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
The Serenbe Farmers Market hosts Growers, Artisans, Craft-makers, and Healthy Food Producers. Parking is available along Serenbe Lane in Grange.

THE GREAT AMERICAN CAR SHOW
10 a.m.-5 p.m., 18830 Highway 85, Gay
All cars are welcome. Come enjoy the day at Longleaf dedicated to the automobile and those whose passion is the preservation and restoration of gorgeous cars. Gates open at 10 a.m., Registration ends at 10:30 a.m. and the Show starts at 11. $20 per car entered. $5 admission and children under 12 free.

CAMPFIRE BUILDING CONTEST
10 a.m.-1 p.m., Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan • 770-254-7271
Come and join our Park Naturalist as we build 10 campfires. Who can get water to boil the fastest? Learn the tricks to start a fire and keep it burning.Bring your own meal to cook in or on the fire. SENOIA JEEP FEST

TRUNK-OR-TREAT AT MORELAND MILL

The Town of Moreland presents: Trunk-or-Treat at The Moreland Mill! They will have fun trunks and food trucks! Creative costumes are encouraged for all ages! This event is open to the public so bring your family and friends!

NEWNAN SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
7 p.m., Greenville Street Park, Downtown Newnan
Newnan Shakespeare in the Park is returning to the Greenville Street Park to present a production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado about Nothing. These family-friendly performances are free to the public. Audiences are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, food and drink to enjoy under the stars.
