This is Day 2 of the 76th Annual Kiwanis Coweta County Fair. Individual Exhibits and Booths in Exhibit Hall, plus Animal Exhibits in the Ag Building and Midway. Entertainment by Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, Bob Seymore – The Living Statue, Extreme Sculpting with Chainsaw Artist Chris, DJ King Justice, Inflatables, Games and Crafts, plus Superheroes. SIP N PAINT PARTY
7 p.m., Coweta Veterans Club, 130 Veterans Club Drive, Newnan
Come join the folks at the Coweta Veterans Club in Newnan for a fun Paint Party! Will paint a Country Pumpkins painting on a 16×20 canvas and which will make a perfect addition to your Fall collection. Hang it in your home or give it to someone special! $38 gets you a seat, all the materials you need, step by step directions as we all paint together. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT THE PARK
9 a.m.-2 p.m., Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan
Meet at the Visitor Center and everyone will be working puncheons near Campground 1. Cordless drills, hammers, pry bars, and work gloves are suggested. This workday is appropriate for teenagers and adults. Event by Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park and Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites.
PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
Approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats and more. Also live music.
SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.- 1 p.m., The Grange Green, 10640 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills
The Serenbe Farmers Market hosts Growers, Artisans, Craft-makers, and Healthy Food Producers. Parking is available along Serenbe Lane in Grange.
HIKE AND YOGA
9:30 a.m. Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan
Guests will meet at the Visitor Center to complete paperwork before getting started. A 60-90 minute hike will get participants warmed prior to setting up for a yoga session. After yoga the group will enjoy lunch. The cost is $25. Additionally, all participants are required to purchase a parking pass ($5) or possess a valid annual State Park pass (not a National Park pass) or Friends of Georgia State Parks pass. Participants should have good hiking boots, water, lunch, yoga mat, and towel to protect your mat. A limited number of mats are available for loan and can be reserved when registering. Please bring a towel if borrowing a mat. Event by Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park and Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites.

AMPHIBIAN AND REPTILE HIKE

Come and join our park naturalist for a hike and look and listen for those secretive Amphibians and Reptiles. Get to know where to look for them and how to identify they by their sounds. Call the park to reserve your place 770-254-7271. Cost is $5 a person and $5 parking fee.
SPEED DATING

Their quarterly Speed Dating Event. MYSTERY AT STARR’S MILL
3 p.m., Starr’s Mill, 115 Waterfall Way, Fayetteville
The Fayette County Historical Society is pleased to invite everyone to their meeting at Starr’s Mill. Bruce Jordan, a 30-year veteran Chief Investigator, Detective and author of “Death Unexpected, The Violent Deaths of Fayette” will be telling us of the Unsolved Murder of Mr. George Lynch and the mystery surrounding this investigation. Please bring your own chair! Due to the historic nature of the Mill, we unfortunately cannot accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, or walkers.
