WGTC’s Dental Hygiene ’25 Class Achieves 100% Pass Rate on CRDTS Exam

West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) has announced that its Dental Hygiene Class of 2025 achieved a 100% pass rate on the Central Regional Dental Testing Services (CRDTS) exam.
As part of the requirement for licensure, the CRDTS exam assesses dental hygiene students’ professional knowledge, skills, abilities, and clinical judgment to prepare them for dental hygiene practice.
Lisa Ashton of Coweta County, Chifion Battle of Clayton County, Juliana Bravy of Carroll County, Shelia Canas-Mendoza of Douglas County, Abbygail Crawford of Carroll County, Makayla Marlow of Carroll County, Hanine Samad of Fayette County, and Alexis Schult of Coweta County will graduate with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from WGTC in May. After successfully completing the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination, all graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce as Registered Dental Hygienists upon licensure in Georgia or elsewhere.
“This is an amazing group of hard-working students, and it is an incredible accomplishment for all of our students to pass this exam,” said Dental Hygiene Program Director Melondy Martin. “I’m so proud of our students and faculty for helping make these dreams come true!”
The Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene is an 83-credit hour program designed to prepare students for a wide range of career opportunities. This rigorous and highly competitive program equips graduates with the knowledge and clinical skills needed to succeed in dental offices, public health agencies, educational institutions, and the insurance industry.
