Spamalot is the legend of King Arthur and his knights, but with show girls, cows, killer rabbits and French people. Check out their website for summer camps and an actor’s workshop. Sen. Matt Brass to discuss Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Newnan

Drug Free Coweta, a local community organization dedicated to promoting a drug-free lifestyle, is excited that Sen. Matt Brass will be a guest speaker at its coalition meeting on Friday, May 12. He will provide an update on medical marijuana trends and the upcoming opening of a new medical marijuana dispensary in Newnan. The community is encouraged to attend to learn more about the potential impacts of the new dispensary and how to promote drug-free living in Coweta County. Sen. Brass will be speaking about the legislation surrounding the new dispensary and answering questions that the audience may have.

The Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park is hosting its Volunteer Workday. The weather is finally going to let us get our kayak fleet maintenance completed. Volunteers will be working on some of our kayaks, applying Gator patch where needed and doing an overall check of the equipment. We will be meeting at the Maintenance Yard.
Champagne in the Garden Spring Garden Tour

The Garden Club of Senoia hosts a tour of secret Gardens within historic downtown Senoia. Take a stroll and sip champagne while you enjoy these unique gardens. The plein air artists will be capturing local scenes , and some live music makes the afternoon fun for mom, family or friends. Treat your mom for Mother’s Day, surprise your special someone to a beautiful day. Tickets are $35.
