City of Newnan FD receives New Rescue Unit

The City of Newnan Fire Department received a new Rescue Unit on Friday (Jan. 19), which will be used at Station 2 (off of Lower Fayetteville Road).

Rescue Unit 2 is designed for medical emergencies and will enable first responders to deploy quickly to medical calls.  

“Station 2 has a new Rescue Unit with all the equipment needed for rescue situations and first responder medical emergencies,” Newnan Fire Chief Stephen Brown shared. “We are grateful to the citizens and the City Council for their support and commitment to investing in the Fire Department.”
