Sports This Week: Hawks, Braves, NASCAR and College Basketball

Two Atlanta professional teams – Hawks and Braves – are in action this week as several sports crossover on the calendar.

The Hawks end a three-game homestand on Tuesday hosting Utah. Atlanta then travels to Brooklyn to face the Nets for a pair of games (Thursday and Saturday). All three games are set to be televised by Bally Sports.

The Braves began their 32-game Spring Training schedule Saturday with a 6-5 win over Tampa Bay. There will be no live TV telecasts until March 10 when Bally Sports Southeast will televise the Braves-Yankees, the first of eight spring training games on live TV.

United has the week off after a 1-0 loss in its MLS season-0pener on Saturday at Columbus. United’s home opener is set for March 9 entertaining the New England Revolution.
