Day 10 – 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair

A total of 12 hours of fun, food and entertainment are awaiting folks attending the  2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair today.

Gates open for Day No. 10 at noon with the session closing at midnight. Admission is $10, with children 5-and-under Free. It is also Military Appreciation Day as all active and retired military personnel are granted Free Admission with ID.

Two competitions are on today’s agenda. First, it’s the annual Cattlemen’s Cook-Off from 6-8 p.m. in Exhibit Hall. And second, the always entertaining Lumberjack and Lumberjill contest begins at 6 p.m. in the Livestock Arena.

Entertainment scheduled today include Donald White – The Science Guy, a Police K-9 Demonstration, Jerry G. White and percussion, Extreme Sculpting by Chainsaw artist Chris,  the Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, DJ King Justice music, Princesses, Inflatables and Crafts.

Saturday’s weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Peachtree City calls for sunny skies with a high of 89. By the time the Fair wraps up at midnight,  temps will be near 72.  For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.

FAIR HOURS
Noon – Midnight

ADMISSION: $10, Children 5-and-under are Free; It’s also Military Appreciation Day, All Active and Retired Military Personnel are granted Free Admission with ID.

PARKING: Free

RIDE ARMBANDS: $35, unlimited rides on day of purchase only.

• Individual Exhibits and Booths in Exhibit Hall. Categories such as AG, Art, Baked Goods, Handicrafts, Horticulture, Photography and Preserved Foods.
• Animal Exhibits in Ag Building and Midway.

ENTERTAINMENT
• Primetime Carnival Kiddie Rides, Family & Major Rides, Games, Food Concessions – Midway
• Inflatables, Games and Crafts – Lawn in front of Walker Horne Stage
• Donald White, The Science Guy, 2-3 p.m. – Exhibit Hall
• Police K-9 Demonstration, 4 p.m. – Livestock Arena
• Jerry G. White, Percussion, 6-9 p.m. – Food Court Area
