Bailey Station Commons

There is an exciting new development coming to the Thomas Crossroads area in Newnan. The Dockery Group, a construction and development company known for its work on Skyview Atlanta, will be involved in every step of this 24,000 square foot development, known as Bailey Station Commons. This is a community-focused project that aims to create an environment that fits a variety of needs. 

At the center of this project is a vibrant food hall and entertainment venue. This space, called The Forum, will include a food court featuring around six different restaurants, including a coffee and dessert spot that will be perfect for morning meetings. The Forum will also house multiple recreational spaces, including pool tables, an arcade, a year-round indoor-outdoor patio space, and a rooftop bar. The overall purpose of this project is to provide an entertainment space that is rare in the West Georgia region. 

In addition to The Forum, Bailey Station Commons will offer 15,000 square feet of available commercial rental space included with this development. They are actively pre-leasing this space, with the intent of working directly with tenants on building the space they need. Nathan Dockery, the developer of this project, explained that the presence of committed tenants allows construction of the project to proceed. 

Altogether, this development will act almost as an outdoor mall, providing citizens with a variety of shopping, activities, and food options. They hope to receive the needed permits for this development by the end of January, in order to begin construction. Their overall goal is to have this space available to the public by the beginning of 2027.

There is much work to do until the public will be able to see the finished product of this development; however, this project offers the community a needed space for meetings, family gatherings, and outings with friends.
