49th Annual Coweta County Farmers Market Open
Saturday, June 6th, is opening day for the 49th annual Coweta County Farmers Market. The market has been a community staple serving area residents since 1977.
At the market, participating local farm families and vendors will offer a wide variety of fresh, locally grown produce, meats
, eggs, and other farm favorites, including honey, squash, green beans, sweet corn, peas, tomatoes, flowers, and so much more! You will also find local artisans offering handmade arts and crafts. “We are a true farmers’ market,” says Kim Ullom, Market Coordinator. “Everything is local and seasonal!”
The market is located at the Asa Powel Expo Center, 197 Temple Ave., Newnan. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday, June 6th through September 30th. The first 100 customers will receive a free market shopping bag.
