NAACP AWARDS BANQUET

The theme for the annual NAACP banquet was “Community, Service, and Education,” a reflection of the values that continue to strengthen and uplift Coweta County.

The keynote speaker was Mayor Jayden Williams , mayor of Stockbridge and the youngest African American mayor in Georgia

Three Coweta County citizens were recognized for their outstanding leadership and service to the community:

Ms. Deidre Bembry  – Community Impact

Mr. John Wells – Preservation

Ms. Melvinor Kendrick – Trailblazer
